Casey's Posting Issues
We've had this issue come up on the Illinois site several times now. It doesn't necessarily pertain to the Chicago area, however it does to the rest of the state.
Basically what happens is that the Central IL Casey's gas stations advertise their cheapest price on the sign which isn't "regular unleaded" per say. Generally it is what is considered "mid-grade".
Here's a link to a picture I took of the Casey's in Chillicothe back in February.

Notice on that sign that the $2.29 price is for "Unleaded Plus" (which is actually 87-Octane E-10 gas)
Notice that the $2.34 price is for "Unleaded" (which is 89-Octane E-10 gas)
Both are "regular" prices according to Gas Buddy's standards, however, if we follow the guidelines, the higher price of $2.34 should be the "regular" price.
So you can see the issue here with 2 regular unleaded prices to go into one spot. I say that we post the cheaper price as the regular price, b/c lets face it, that is what 90% of the people get.
Any thoughts, comments??

Welcome Chicago Gas Buddies!!
I created this blog area to vent your opinions off the site and in your own words without the fear of GM or other mods banning you. We're all adults, so language won't be an issue. Just don't get too snippy with each other!
Let's discuss how to post prices, special situations and above all, how to make this site the best there is!
Enjoy!
